An Indianapolis man has been arrested after it emerged he had intervened in a fight between his daughter and another girl and repeatedly punched his daughter's alleged bully. The fight, which was recorded on a mobile phone, shows the two girls aged 10 and 11 striking each other before falling to the ground. The man in question can be seen running up and leaning in and repeatedly punching one of the girls.
"It’s ridiculous. I would not want anybody to hit my child like that. I would never do that with my child either," said one woman living in the neighbourhood who lives just two doors down from where the incident occurred.

Bizarrely, the video shows the man in question recording the fight on his own phone as well (just in case the police needed any more evidence) and shouting tips at his daughter.
"Hit her! With your fists. Ball your fists up," he cries out in the clip before intervening.
Shortly afterwards police arrived and arrested the man on charge of felony battery on an underage child.
"It’s appropriate for him to be charged with that. It doesn’t make sense for a grown up or adult to encourage behaviour like that," said one local when speaking to reporters.
The man can also be heard taunting one of the girls as she ran away from him.
"Don’t run you little punk a**," he shouts. Meanwhile the man who has been named as Spencer Woods is due in court and his behaviour here has likely resulted in him violating his parole after he was convicted in 2011 over reckless homicide when he caused a death by driving while intoxicated. He is due in court next month but offered up this defence of actions:
"His daughter was being constantly bullied. Once the girls got off the bus, he wanted them to fight to ‘end the issue'".

Well it seems he was more than willing to help end that issue by stepping in and acting like a huge ass. By violating his parole he will likely end up in prison and he was more than kind enough to record his criminal activity on his phone, criminal activity which involved an adult man repeatedly punching a ten-year-old girl. So to sum up: this man acted like more a childish bully than most childhood bullies, and has probably resulted in more humiliation for his daughter than if he'd just let her deal with the issue on her own terms.
