On Saturday the 16th December a Japanese man passed away in hospital as the result of an embolism. Police have since arrested two of his co-workers on suspicion of manslaughter after they came forward and admitted that they were responsible for his death. It has since come out that they had played a pretty brutal prank on the 44-year-old co-worker which involved some compressed air… and his ass.
Yeah, it made us wince too.
So, thanks to the single greatest video ever, we have a CGI recreation of the incident that highlights the overall series of events. The two co-workers explain how they began using the compressed air to clean their worker uniforms when they started to joke around. Their pranking escalated to a point where they pressed the nozzle of the compressed air against the man’s bum, with his clothes still on, and pressed the button.
Following this, the man’s stomach began to swell and he complained of abdominal pains. His two co-workers, realising they had messed up badly, rushed him to the hospital. Unfortunately, it was too late and he died of his injuries. The official cause of death was an embolism i.e. he had air in his veins caused by the compressed air.
For all the silliness of this story, it’s worth reminding people
