The third largest fire in California's history is currently sweeping its way across the state and has burned through over 250,000 acres.'The Thomas Fire' is currently 45% contained and the mandatory evacuation zone is now 17 miles long and up to five miles wide, extending from coastal mountains northwest of Los Angeles to the ocean. Two people have died so far, a firefighter and an elderly woman who got into a car accident when evacuating.
A number of celebrities have been affected by the fire, evacuating across the state and offering their support online and in person. Oprah Winfrey has been vocal in her praise of the emergency services and Ellen DeGeneres, Drew Barrymore, and Katy Perry are also known to live in the area. Rob Low has gone above and beyond in his support, though, by getting hands on and helping to tackle the blaze himself and inviting firefighters into his home for dinner.
It looks like cheeseburgers and pasta are on the menu in the Lowe household, so there are definitely worse places to go for dinner. He's understood to live in a 14,260-square-foot mansion in a lot in Montecito, smack bang in the middle of the danger zone, in the wealthiest community in Santa Barbara County.
