A Mother's Day event turned into a huge fight, flooding into a pub car park, as a dozen women brawled after a male strip show got out of hand. Over 100 women turned up to The Woodman Arms pub in Middlesbrough at 3pm to watch 'Sergeant Sex' perform his show, with a teasing routine from several musclebound men with eye-popping routines. Alcohol was flowing freely at the... unique event, and things soon turned heated and a fight broke out inside the pub. It's understood that twelve women starting throwing punches at each other, and spilled out into the car park of the venue where two of the women were eventually arrested.
Advertisements for the event urged people to 'treat their mum to something different' on Mother's Day, and that's certainly what the unsuspecting punters got. A Cleveland Police spokeswoman spoke to confirm the events: "Police were called to the Woodman Arms at around 10.25pm on Sunday night to reports of up to a dozen women fighting. It started inside the pub and then moved outside. Two women, aged 24 and 30, were arrested for being drunk and disorderly in a public place and were issued with fixed penalty notices." Anyone issued with a fixed penalty notice for being drunk and disorderly must pay a £90 fine.
Two of the strippers from the event have also spoken out to talk about the fight. Glen Watson, 23, who performs using the persona of a builder, and Johnny Hunter, 28, who typically wears a police uniform for his bookings, were both part of the show. Johnny spoke to the Sun about what he saw: "I don't know if that was just because it was Middlesbrough. I thought it was strange having strippers that early. It was rowdy. They were cheering and screaming and whistling. Some were game and were up for it. I got them to suck a banana and lick cream off me. They weren't shy. After me was Sergeant Sex the soldier." Sounds like an exciting night, I know where I'm taking my mum next year
