What is it about friends that make them so damn ruthless? They won’t miss an opportunity to laugh at your expense, and one Devon policeman found this out in a rather humiliating scenario. The poor guy managed to handcuff himself to a railing at ExeterCentral rail and his co-workers rushed to their phones rather than help him. Why? Well they wanted a photo, and by the time he had managed to grab his keys and free himself it was way too late. They had the picture and it was already half-way there to Twitter.
One of our @BTPSpecials managed to cuff himself to the hand rail at #ExeterCentral...— BTP Devon (@BTPDevon) 6 March 2018
Him fumbling for his key gave us just enough time to ensure we got a quick snap 😉#CakeFine #Whoops pic.twitter.com/MylC2T61BE
With his humiliation broadcast across the world we can’t help but feel sorry for the poor guy, although we have to admit it’s bloody hilarious. It’s nice to know that in between shifts of keeping us safe and running head-first into danger, our nation’s police are just as willing to savage a co-worker as the rest of us. The tweet read:
“One of our BTPSpecials managed to cuff himself to the hand rail at ExeterCentral ... Him fumbling for his key gave us just enough time to ensure we got a quick snap”
The British Transport Police are responsible for the nation’s railways. BTP Devon have an active Twitter account and often post stories of the police’s various encounters on the local trains. Recent tweets describe drunk men punching locals, having to use captor spray to take down violent drunks (there are a lot of drunks, and a hilarious appeal to catch Elsa from Frozen after the recent bout of cold weather in the UK.
