Four people have been arrested and are facing charges of felony torture and assault with a deadly weapon, alongside charges of child abuse and child endangerment and a 15-year-old girl was treated for suspicious injuries.
Louis Hill and Sharon Hill are accused of poking holes in their daughter’s feet using an awl tool and then pouring bleach into the open wounds to further the pain inflicted. It is believed that there was a period of prolonged torture also involved other instruments, such as a hammer.

Awls are sharp pointed instruments often used for punching holes in materials and fabrics, typically like leather.
Anaheim police sergeant Daron Wyatt told City News Service,
“Absolutely horrific things were done to this young girl.
“They poked holes in her feet and poured bleach or something like that in them.”
The girl, at some point, managed to escape and sought treatment at UCLA Medical Center on June 15th where she was then able to get help from the police.
While details currently remain scarce it has been confirmed that Louis Hill, the girl’s father, Sharon Hill, her stepmother, Delores Porter, the girl’s mother, and Yulonda Parker, her aunt, have all been arrested. They all face charges related to assault, abuse, torture, and child endangerment.
They are currently being held in jail without bail. So far no motive or reason behind the torture has been made available, nor is it clear if the 15-year-old girl was subjected to abuse throughout her life or whether this was a single incident.
The involvement of her birth mother and aunt also raises questions as it suggests that her entire family played a role in the abuse, although it seems only the father has been accused of pouring bleach into her open wounds.
