Will Smith celebrated his songs Spotify record in the funniest way
If you're anything like me, you grew up watching The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and you thought Will Smith was the coolest guy ever. He rapped his way into our little hearts and his difficult but relatable relationship with his Uncle Phil made us all cry. All things come around though, and now Will is looking a little like Uncle Phil himself as he nears 49, with two teenagers - daughter Willow and son Jaden. Both of the younger Smiths are musicians with Willow's huge hit 'Whip my Hair' storming the charts back when she was only ten. Jaden is known for his... insightful philosophical tweets, his acting career often working with his father and now his debut album, released in November 2017.
Will Smith proved he was still just as funny as ever when he celebrated Jaden reaching 100,000,000 Spotify streams by spoofing his son's music video for his song 'Icon. In the video, Jaden models some designer gold grills and a torn denim on top and bottom as he dances in front of a car in the desert. Will's version is pretty similar but the denim is a little less fashionable and the car is just a tiny bit cheaper. Jaden officially the landmark total for his debut studio album “SYRE” earlier this month, and the support from his pops is something we can all aspire for, even if it might sting our egos just a little. The trolling is all good natured but Jaden hasn't written back yet so we're not sure how he's taken it. It's a pretty good 1:1 copy of the video though, and we haven't stopped laughing since we saw it. Check it out below
