Kim Kardashian has broken the internet again
Kim, the undisputed Queen of the Royal Family of Kardashian-West, blew Instagram up last night with an array of seductive snaps. Kim debuted a controversial new hairstyle inspired by '10' star Bo Derek, and braided her hair black and silver hair away from her face in a set of Fulani braids. She's come under fire previously for taking part in a photoshoot that detractors labelled 'blackface' after she appeared a lot darker in the images than normal. Kim apologised and explained that she had a deep tan at the time and after touch ups, the lighting might have made it look like she had darkened her skin but she would never purposefully do something disrespectful. This time, however, Kim doesn't seem to be rushing to issue an apology.

Fans have taken to Twitter to let her know that her new hairstyle is an act of cultural appropriation, as black people are routinely under fire for wearing their hair natural or in braids. The real issue seems to be the fact Kim refers to the hair in her Snapchats as 'Bo Derek hair' because though Bo Derek popularised the hairstyle for white people after her appearance in 10 braids have always been worn in black culture. In apparent response to the furore Kim captioned one of her Instagram photos, where she can be seen sitting on a bed answering the phone, with "Hi, can I get zero fucks please, thanks". Never one to shy away from controversy, our Kimmy.
The other images feature her from different angles in her underwear with a fur coat (presumably real fur, PETA)and her breasts are visible with blurred nipples in one that quickly gathered almost 4 million likes on the image sharing site. Though the saucy snap received lots of likes and supportive comments from Kim's famous friends, the general public seem to have a different opinion with many telling her it's 'inappropriate for a mother' to show her body and asking how Kanye could have let her do this. The answer to that question is pretty simple, Kanye doesn't tell Kim what to do because she's a grown woman. You might not like her photos, in which case don't follow her on social media, but don't take away her agency over her own body.
