Kids can be freakin’ adorable sometimes. With all the crazy weather going on lately it’s easy to forget that there’s actually a bunch of kids with their fingers crossed waiting, begging, and praying… for a snow day. Why?
F*ck school that’s why. I’m an adult and even I remember that. Who wants to be in school, eh? No one. Not even the God damned teachers. But hey it’s a grown up world and you’ve gotta wake up and go do your thing whether that’s school or work. Doesn’t mean that when there are storm clouds brewing and snowflakes starting to drift down from the clouds that you can’t try to… nudge things in your favour and try to get a day off school.
That’s what one kid tried to do in Hillsboro Missouri when they found the local superintendents house and left a gift basket of candy with a single note reading,
“You know what to do.”

That’s one damn ominous bribe.
The superintendent has joked about it on Twitter and shown his appreciation for the candy—Reese’s buttercups, his favourite—saying they’ll give him fuel for the cold weather!
